Negin Bassam

President & Design Principal

Negin Bassam is President and Design Principal of NERA Builders, where she leads the firm's vision and oversees the design direction of every project, from early architectural planning through interiors and execution.

With a background in finance and a Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Negin combines strategic business insight with a deep understanding of space, form, and function. She began her design career in Washington, D.C., as Director of Interior Design for PERS Development, creating modern, functional interiors for multifamily developments.

Today, she brings her signature perspective to NERA's residential and commercial projects, blending California's relaxed elegance with the sophistication and structure of her early work in D.C. Her integrated approach ensures that architecture, interiors, and construction are conceived as a cohesive whole, resulting in distinctive spaces that balance beauty, comfort, and practicality.

Ramin Bassam

Partner & Director of Construction

Ramin is Partner and Director of Construction at NERA Builders, where he oversees construction strategy, field execution, and quality across the firm's projects. Since 2006, he has developed more than $250 million in real estate, beginning his career with PERS Development in Washington, D.C., before launching RANE Construction on the West Coast.

His combined experience as a builder and developer allows him to anticipate challenges, evaluate constructability, and guide projects from early planning through completion. Known for his hands-on leadership, commitment to craftsmanship, and relentless attention to detail, Ramin ensures that each project is built with precision, integrity, and lasting quality.

Jackie Magdaleno

Director of Operations

Jackie is the Director of Operations at NERA Builders, bringing more than 13 years of experience in real estate development, construction operations, and project management. She oversees the day-to-day coordination of each project from pre-construction through completion, keeping the many moving parts organized, aligned, and progressing smoothly.

Known for her precision, efficiency, and proactive approach, Jackie anticipates challenges, keeps critical details moving, and ensures each phase remains aligned with the project's goals. Her strategic oversight and deep industry knowledge are essential to NERA's ability to deliver thoughtfully designed, well-executed projects on time and on budget.
